This product can be poured at thickness levels up to 2inch keeping a crystal-clear look. It displays excellent air release and color retention capabilities. It also possesses superior mechanical properties such as impact resistance without blushing, fisheying, and drying to an extremely hard finish that is totally clear. Cure Time Curing times can differ significantly depending on the thickness, volume poured at once and the shape sought, and ambient temperature. It is recommended to apply the product when the room temperature is stable (average 70 deg F) If applied at low temperatures, the product might not cure properly. The high ambient temperature might create an exothermic reaction. Thickness We do not recommend exceeding a thickness of 2 inches if the application area is large. Fort thicker applications use Epoxy Cast THICK. Packaging 1 gal and 3-gallon Kits Shelf Life 12 months when stored unopened below 77°F (25°C) under shade in a dry environment Priming / Sealing If porous, the surface needs to be sealed by brushing or rolling the Epoxy Cast or Chem 100 Natural product in a thin layer. Sealing the substrate is critical since the surface’s pores could create bubbles. Once sealed, the Epoxy Cast product can be poured on the surface. Application Apply only when air and substrate temperature is close to 70 deg F. Once the seal coat is tacky you can start the pouring process. Make sure the working area is dust-free. Make sure to prepare a screen to protect the surface once your work is completed since dust, particle and other objects could fall in the epoxy prior to complete cure.
